This was our last lab of the semester, it was intended to be simple and fun. It will take very little time, but if you plan to do some fun demonstrations then do this lab the kids will have a blast and go into summer or winter vacation excited about STEM and coming back next semester. One thing to keep in mind is if it is hot the ice cream will have trouble setting so have some straws and say the kids are making milk shakes instead just due to the temperature and remind them on hot summer days what happens to their already frozen ice cream in the sun. If you are doing it inside or in the cold make sure they have gloves or towels to keep their hands warm while mixing the ice cream.
