This is a very simple lab. The main issue that our kids experienced when doing the lab is that they had trouble keeping the cellophane on the tube tight. We found that thicker rubber bands are needed and that re-tightening the sound tube every one to two hits made it work really well. It can also be fun to setup a few things for the kids to test against besides the strip of card stock, try using a thin strip of plastic or a thin piece of aluminum, both can give some neat results.
