Magnetism (for Parents/Teachers)

This lab is very straight forward, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

• Only certain types of clay work, others just fall apart in the water
• Sometimes it is better to just skip the stand and clay
• Use a rubber band to help with any static cling that might be messing with the Styrofoam
• If the needle you are using does not seem to work consider using a nail containing Iron or use a smaller piece of Styrofoam
